The Permanent Secretary Ministry of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Vincent Bagiire delivered a guest lecture to students of the Software Systems Centre at Makerere University. He was accompanied by Mr. Peter Kahiigi, the NITA-U Director for eGovernment Services. This lecture is one of a series of planned engagements aimed at bridging the existing educational and skills gap between Government, Academia and the Industry. There is a need to address and equip students from universities and Institutions of higher learning with the relevant skills to address the needs of our dynamic Community and Industry.
